The Wynn Signature Series running from June 25 through July 2 will feature a $10 million GTD Wynn Millions.

Wynn Resorts to Step in and Host $16m Poker Series

Wynn Resorts is hosting an outstanding event that promises to not just make up for the postponed World Series of Poker (WSOP) but completely steal the Holy Grail of poker’s thunder by launching a $10 million GTD prize pool event.

For a $10,000 buy-in, players will have the opportunity to join the Wynn Signature Series from June 25 to July 2, which will also feature the ‘Wynn Millions.’ The entire series will have a substantial $16 million GTD in prize money.

To reach the stated target, though, Wynn Resorts will have to pull at least 1,000 players who are willing to front the money and join the event.

The good news is that Las Vegas and Nevada are welcoming travelers and poker players, and with a historically high prize pool, interest in poker is definitely going to be high during the summer. This ‘Wynn Millions’ will be a part of the 30-odd poker tournaments that will take place in earnest between May and July and prove a worthwhile way to spend your time if you are missing WSOP.

Players will enjoy a variety of tournaments geared towards novices and advanced poker aficionados and be able to buy an entry into numerous events. That includes the $400 buy-in $40,000 Survivor event that will kick off the festival. Another excellent event to consider is the $500 buy-in $500,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em final.

The Poker Summer Has Already Begun

The Wynn Signature Series offers a total of five events where the prize pool is at least $1 million. Furthermore, Wynn Resorts is hardly the only card room this summer that thinks they can make headlines.

The DeepStack Championship Series, which is kicking off in May, promises and will run all through August, bringing a lot of extra action leading up to the October WSOP events. The DeepStack Series, though, holds a dear promise to be quite interesting all by itself.

There will be three tournaments where the prize pool will start at $2 million and more, along with other worthwhile events to join in. In the meantime, Wynn Las Vegas is already running a 12-event poker series that kicked off on April 26 and will continue through May 9 before the Signature Series arrive next.
