The states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania are going to enjoy a new round of promotions and events doted on them by PokerStars.

PokerStars Dotes More on New Jersey and Pennsylvania

PokerStars USA is deepening its roots in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with its dedicated local IPs, PokerStars NJ, and PokerStars PA respectively. The company is introducing a host of new features, including cash games, tournaments, and other promotional events to participate in.

The first in a long line of online poker treats is Cardex, a cash game that shares similarities with bingo, and offers up to $5,000 in cash prizes. The event runs through August 16 and once again has some exclusivity written over it.

PokerStars is in the habit of running events for a limited period of time and then come up with new ones to excite the poker world. In Pennsylvania, all majors have been switched to a progressive knockout format (PKO) as of today, Sunday, August 2.

Best Sundays with PokerStars PA and NJ

New Jersey will get to enjoy a Half Price Sunday, reducing the buy-ins for its majors by 50% and offering a great chance for players to participate at a better entry fee. Cardex has certainly tickled some fancies, and the promotion is now available in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

To win a prize, all you need to do is match 5 Cardex cards in any of the available NLHE games, with all rewards honored instantly. Meanwhile, the KO Sunday is already afoot with a bounty increasing each time a player gets someone off the table.

That way, the more players you eliminate, the bigger the bounty on your head will be, potentially serving as a powerful mind-game tool, or drawing unwanted attention. Either way, PokerStars is running with it.

While players over at New Jersey won’t get a KO Sunday, they will have the opportunity to join the flagship Sunday Special event for $100 instead of the original $200 buy-in, thanks to the Half Price Sunday.

Previously, PokerStars ran the Bounty Builder Series (BBS) that paid around $2.6 million across all markets in the United States available to the PokerStars network. The event ran from July 12 through July 26.

PokerStars has more rewards and events for the coming months after this Sunday, but those will be revealed at a later date. In the meantime, players can join the knockout tournament or benefit from the Half Price Sunday instead.
