Online poker is dominated by respected brands such as Partypoker and PokerStars. In a press release, a Bitcoin-based operator, CryptoSlots, has announced plans to introduce its own poker offer accepting cryptocurrencies.

CryptoSlots Poker Offer Comes to Live

CryptoSlots is adding a new version of poker called “Double Bonus Poker”, which will be played with five hands, kicking off during the Halloween holidays. With the announcement also came news that the operator will add a series of bonuses that will help users find their foothold on the platform over the next few days until November 4.

The poker bonus for a first deposit will be worth 35% and users will be allowed to top off their bankrolls with $150. With the new version of the game, every user on the portal will be able to play five hands in a single session.

Each game will be played with a standard 52-card deck. This version of poker has been modified with the addition of several iGaming related features, such as the “Double” button whereby players will attempt to multiply their winnings two-fold.

The platform itself is a fully-developed crypto-based iGaming website and the focus on poker has only began to show recently. All transactions at the website’s card room, and the other facilities for that matter, are carried out in varied cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin BCH, Bitcoin Core (BTC) and Litecoin.

All payouts are honored in the form of cryptocurrency leading to better transaction fees conditions for the end user.

Introducing Five-Card Poker on Halloween

The platform has also chosen to introduce the new version of the game at a time when it can benefit from the excitement building around Halloween. During the Halloween holidays, the company will be accepting qualifying wagers between $25 and $200, and beyond. All new depositors will need to enter a special bonus code “HALLOWEEN”.

According to the company, which is owned by Slotland Entertainment, SA, the platform allows users a maximum control over their funds.

Even though Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have been gaining a steady traction, not many popular operators have doted much on the segment.

Admittedly, however, many of the established and reputable names in the industry have started accepting deposits made in Bitcoin, though the focus of big companies remains firmly on innovation through technology bolstering the gaming experience directly.

However, seeing an operator that runs relying on cryptocurrencies for all its day-to-day transactions is uncommon and it’s mostly reserved for iGaming companies as opposed to dedicated card rooms.

Introducing bonuses to excite crypto poker fans shouldn’t mislead players however. Everyone attempting to game in this sector should know that they first need to familiarize themselves with how blockchain and cryptocurrencies work, along with establishing a wallet.

In many regards, online poker will still remain focused on FIAT currency which have been around longer and are naturally far less volatile.

In our other casinos, we’ve seen a huge increase in players opting to play in cryptocurrencies to avoid banking delays and complications. -Slotland’s Michael Hilary

CryptoSlots was launched back in June 6, 2018 as a fully-dedicated crypto iGaming operator, following the peaking interest in cryptocurrencies. According to Slotland’s Michael Hilary, a growing number of gamers have opted for cryptocurrencies as a payment solution, prompting the company to toy with the idea and now expand into poker.
