September 8, 2016, has for sure become one of the days more memorable in Shaun Deeb’s life.
Deeb had two extraordinary highs today, one in his personal life and another one in the professional sphere. On the same day his second child was born, the poker pro won his record-tying fourth World Championship of Online Poker title. Deeb has now nine “COOP” titles.
This interesting story began already in the early morning hours. Shaun made the final table as a chip leader, and saw through facetime his wife go into labor.
On twitter, Shaun wrote:

Ashley Deeb gave birth at 12:51 a.m to a healthy 8 pound boy, name Chance Deeb.

After welcoming his newborn to the world, Deeb started to focus again on the tournament. Besides the $22,185,60 prize, Deeb had also records to set, and maybe most importantly, the player needed validating for sacrificing an important day in his personal life for professional pursuits.
Important names such as Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier, Andrey “Kroko-dill” Zaichenko and Adam “Adamyid” Owen fell short of the final table, but were among the 11 paid spots of the tournament.
At the final table, Dzmitry “Colisea” Urbanovich was , arguably, Deeb’s toughest opponent. But “OLD TIME GIN” took care of the polish player and Deeb didn’t not have to worry about it.
Heads-Up
“OLD TIME GIN” entered the heads-up with almost a 4:1 chip lead, but Deeb put up a tough fight and got the lead.
Before Deeb finished off his opponent, he held a nearly 8: 1 chip lead. Deeb raised to 32,000 and called his opponent’s all-in shove of 288,076.
