This year’s partypoker MILLIONS online has been receiving plenty of hype over the course of the past few weeks and, now that it’s underway, the event is off to an amazing start. On Day 1A alone, the event has generated a $7 million prize pool.
The first flight of the event took place on Sunday, December 1, and it attracted 709 entries. This resulted in an impressive prize pool of just over $7 million. There are four more Day 1s in the event, and Day 1A has already generated over 35% of the $20 guaranteed million prize pool. So, we’re surely going to see the partypoker MILLIONs online surpass its guarantee.
In last year’s event, the total prize pool ended up being $21.8 million. If this year’s tournament is going to surpass that, another 1291 players will need to enter over the course of the four Day 1s. Judging by Day 1A’s attendance, that shouldn’t be too hard.

There are plenty of opportunities for players to earn tickets into the partypoker MILLIONS Online event. Until December 9, there will be Mega Satellite events all day long. Buy-ins range from $530 to $1050, and they’ll be giving away between five and 50 seats each. If you haven’t got the bankroll for that, though, there are several feeder events with buy-ins that start at just $5.50.
Last year, the winner of the event walked away with $2.3 million, after making a deal at the final table. Three other players earned prizes worth over $1 million, so this event is certainly going to change some lives.
