Since it hosted its very first online gold bracelet events in 2015, the World Series of Poker site has gone ahead to award a total of nine bracelets. This trend continues this year albeit with way more bracelet events and features for online poker players to enjoy. The wait for the 2019 World Series of Poker Schedule is finally over after the WSOP official released the final schedule on Thursday. However, this time, the players can look forward to a whole new experience thanks to some very impressive changes.
Unlike in 2018 when there were only four events being played out online, this year’s WSOP schedule includes 5 more online bracelet events that players will be able to compete on. WSOP.com will be awarding an online gold bracelet each and every Sunday beginning June 3 to July 14 and these will be complemented by two additional online bracelet events taking place n June 19 and July 3. These online bracelet events will feature a variety of formats and price points with the buy-ins ranging from as between $400 and $3,200 which makes it suitable for a wide range of players based on their bankrolls and their willingness to spend on the game.
Speaking on the new WSOP online bracelet schedule, Bill Rini, the head of online poker at WSOP.com said that the online bracelet events were the equivalent of the land-based WSOP and thus they presented just as great an opportunity for poker players from all over the world to go after the humongous prize pools and the gold bracelets. He further confirmed that WSOP.com would be offering a consistent gold bracelet schedule in 2019, and these will be accompanied by non-stop satellite to both live and online events – the goal is to give the sites customers and poker players from all over the world the opportunity to participate in the 50th Annual World Series of Poker.
The Terms
To begin with, players will have to be at least 21 years of age and physically inside the borders of eligible states to be allowed to participate. While players will not necessarily have to be residents of the eligible states in order to be allowed to register or play, all the game action during the tournament will require them to be within the borders of said states. It is also worth noting that the tournament tickers cannot be used for re-entry or for knockout bounty tournaments. For the re-entry events, players will have a maximum of 30 seconds to re-enter and when doing so their accounts will be required enough funds.
Also, Pot-Limit Omaha events will not be available on the mobile version of the site which means if this is your poker game of choice you might need to consider getting a bigger device like a laptop.
