Partypoker’s MILLIONS brand was recently migrated to the virtual world and everyone seems to be eying the number one spot at the poker tournaments. However, Partypoker had to overcome an early glitch that was responsible for PartyPoker Online MILLIONS 45-minute run on Day 1 so as to reach the $5 million Guarantee after which they would hand a million dollars of prize money to the winner. This was a clear indication that the Partypoker team has what it takes to match the key areas that PokerStars progresses at, that is, Online MTT, live MTT and Online High Stakes cash action.

Jonathan Van Fleet was left the only man standing after he outlasted the 1,047 entrants who had surpassed the $5 million guarantee by $135,000. Van Fleet pocketed a total of $1,027,000 which pushes his total online MTT earnings to over $9.5 million.

The past week has been pretty busy and exciting with the live tournament poker still underway. The most prestigious event turns out to be the ongoing World Poker Tour (WPT) Five Diamond Poker Classic that is being hosted at Las Vegas’ Bellagio. Every poker player has been working hard to at least get a seat the table of what is referred to by many as one of the most prestigious poker joints in the world. Notable winners include Rainer Kempe who walked away with a whopping $351,000 after winning the $25k High Roller, Scott Clements who won a $1000 Pot-Limit Omaha for $21,184 and Kristen Bicknell who won the $5k for $288,144.

On the same note, Dan Smith also won $1.4 million from the $100k High Roller and Steve Silverman pocketed $70,307 after topping the $1,500 Shot Clock while Chris Moorman won the $1,000 Turbo for $37,132.

In other poker news, Breakout Gaming is the latest entrant to the growing number of poker sites that are taking advantage if the recent and lucrative cryptocurrency boom. Being part of the GG Network now allows Breakout Poker players to use Bitcoin, USD as well the BRK cryptocurrency to play online – BRK Coin is even already being traded in a number of online cryptocurrency exchanges.

Finally, New Jersey Senator recently introduced a bill that seeks to allow online gambling servers to be located in other countries in a bid to pave way for the sharing of international liquidity. This bill is Lesniak’s last bill before he retires later this month.
