The World Series of Poker is the most prestigious poker event in the world. The tournament always takes place over the summer, but we\u2019re already excited for next year\u2019s event \u2013 especially now that the dates have been announced<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WSOP has announced that next year\u2019s World Series of Poker will take place from Tuesday, May 26th<\/sup> to Wednesday, July 15th<\/sup> at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. The Main Event will be held from July 1 to July 14, 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The buy-in for the Main Event will, as always, be $10,000. There\nwill be three starting flights from July 1st<\/sup> to July 3rd<\/sup>.\nPlayers who make it through Days 1A and 1B will be returning on July 4th<\/sup>\nfor Day 2AB. Players who make it through Day 1C will come back on Day 2C on\nJuly 5th<\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, on July 6th<\/sup>, all of the fields will be\ncombined. Players who have survived both Day 2s will continue to compete throughout\nthe main event until the final table which is anticipated to start on July 10th<\/sup>.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Look At the 2019 WSOP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the 2019 World Series of Poker, the Main Event drew the second-biggest field in the history of the tournament. 8,569 players entered the tournament and generated an impressive $80.5 million prize pool<\/strong>. The Main Event was won by Hossein Ensan, who won $10 million<\/strong>. The rest of the final table payouts were as follows: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
