PokerStars continues to announce great news for players across Pennsylvania. First, the site fully launched for players across the state and now PokerStars will be holding its first ever PACOOP (Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker) – which will guarantee $1 million in prizes across 50 events.

The PACOOP will be held from November 30 to December 16. There will be 50 events, with buy-ins ranging from $30 to $750. However, for microstakes players who may not want to spend so much on a buy-in, there will be a selection of satellite tournaments that cost as little as $1 to enter.

On December 15, the PACOOP Main Event will take place. The buy-in will cost $300, and runners will be vying for their share of a $100,000 prize pool.

There are also plenty of other promotional events for players to take part in. Just before the main event, there will be a depositor freeroll where 25 Main Event tickets will be paid out. There are also daily second chance freerolls, available to all players who fail to make the money in any event that day. In each event, $1,250 in satellite entries will be awarded.

This is going to be a huge event for players across Pennsylvania.
Players in the state have not been able to legally play in online poker
tournaments for over a decade, so this is a landmark event in the country’s
gaming market.

“The Championship of Online Poker, or COOP, is one of our most prestigious events and we’re proud to give Pennsylvania its own. Players in PA have already shown their excitement for PokerStars so we took things to the next level with a $1 million series guarantee and plenty of ways to get in on the action”, says Matt Primeaux, President of FOX Bet.

The Championship of Online Poker is PokerStars’ most
successful online poker series. After seeing what a great year WCOOP had in
2019, the PACOOP is sure to see plenty of entries and lots of exciting poker
action.

This year, WCOOP (World Championship of Online Poker) saw over 1.2 million players join in its events. PokerStars awarded over $104 million to players across the event’s 20 days. It was the site’s biggest online tournament to date.

We can’t wait for the PACOOP this year. It is going to be a
thrilling event, with thousands of players from across Pennsylvania vying for
some amazing prizes.

PokerStars continues to announce great news for players across Pennsylvania.
