Partypoker has been pulling off one milestone after another. After revamping the MILLIONS series and introducing the world’s largest prize pool for an online tournament, the company is still not yet done, exploring new opportunities and destinations for its players and followers. <\/em><\/p>\n

Partypoker’s Re-worked MILLIONS Series<\/h2>\n

Partypoker <\/strong>is determined to continue and bring the world of poker memorable experiences and staggering prize pools, partypoker LIVE president John Duthie<\/strong> has confirmed during an interview about the future of the company. Next year, the company is introducing a number of MILLIONS events, which will steal the spotlight, and effectively see the end of the Caribbean <\/a>tournaments for a while.<\/p>\n

At least four MILLIONS competitions will take place<\/strong>, with the first one coming on March 16 through March 24, 2019 at the Copacabana Palace Hotel, South America. The action will then head up North at the PPC Montreal from May 22 through May 27, 2019. <\/p>\n

MILLIONS Europe is next on the menu, coming to one of Europe’s poker hubs, Barcelona, from August 10 through August 18, 2019. Lastly, the MILLIONS World Bahamas <\/a>will reunite poker aficionados and professionals from November 9 through November 16, 2019.<\/p>\n

Each separate event will come with a rather hefty prize pool by itself, which is quite the achievement indeed. The Main Events are all promised to kick off with $5 million in guaranteed money<\/strong> in exchange of a rather solid $10,300 buy-in.<\/p>\n

Barcelona, though, will see an event with $10 million in guaranteed prizing, which is quite juicy by the looks of it. <\/p>\n

Why the Change? <\/h2>\n

According to Mr. Duthie, players are fond of the so-called competitive format known as “freezeouts”. As a result, all MILLONS events will be transforming into $10,000 freezeout tournaments<\/strong> and will feature a number of extra competitions to keep the competitive spirits high. <\/p>\n

Of course, the freezeout gigs will also be rather riskier for the casinos, as they will eliminate the multiple starting days and the re-buys, but they may appeal to customers in particular, which is exactly what partypoker is hoping for. <\/p>\n

Mr. Duthie has said that he expects Rio De Janeiro to turn out a solid crowd in March<\/strong>, 2019<\/strong>, with Brazilians being some of the most enthusiastic poker players out there. The tournament itself will contain multiple challenges with varying buy-ins and great prizes, including:<\/p>\n
