The event, which is part of the online gold bracelet tournament, had a guaranteed prize pool of $333,333. However, the effect of the more than 2500 entrants blew this away to create a prize pool worth $752,700.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from winning the gold bracelet, which is his first, Joseph, playing under the handle \u201cuu_gl\u201d, also took home $122,314 being the first-place prize. This is the biggest prize money the top scorer has ever won and a massive rise from the combined $30,980 in winnings that Joseph has taken home since 2014.He won $22,793 for his ninth-place top score finish and final table appearance in the WSOP\u2019s Omaha Eights-or-Better event as well as $8,187 for the 25th position finish in the Omaha Hi-Lo pot-limit event.<\/p>\n<p>The $333 Little Grind Online Bracelet event is the smallest buy-in contest of the three that WSOP offers for online poker players. The event commenced on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at exactly 3:33 p.m. in keeping with the 333 theme. WSOP, however, allowed players a 3 hours and 45 minutes window for late registration or re-entry.<\/p>\n<p>The event\u2019s money bubble did burst at around 9:00 p.m. signaling the top 333 players that made the money. It was, however, not until 12:45 a.m. Sunday morning that the event reached its final table.<\/p>\n<p>William Pan, playing under the handle \u201cnomoneyloser\u201d, was the first player to make any meaningful move at the final table. He was, however, left short after he got in a preflop confrontation with another player, Bobby McLawhorn playing under the handle \u201cbcmclawh\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Mitchell gained ground in the six-handed play, knocking out Michael Jacoby and relegating him to the sixth position. Jacoby took home $21,828 for his troubles. Mitchell then won a huge pot against Nevada\u2019s top-seeded player Bobby McLawhorn and relegated him to the fifth position with $29,205 prize money.<\/p>\n<p>Padded by the chip lead that took him to heads-up play, Mitchell trudged on even further when his only remaining opponent Mark Scacewater run into complications that kept him out for the better part of the early going. Though Scacewater got his footing later, his attempts were no match to Mitchell\u2019s pair of queens that he played from the board to secure both the pot and title.<\/p>\n<p>The overall leader board had Mitchell in the first position followed by Mark Scacewater and Michael Addamo taking the first and second runners-up positions respectively. Hao Sun clinched the fourth place while William Pan, who bagged $9,710, sealed the top nine positions.<\/p>\n<p>The successful completion of the $333 \u2018Little Grind\u2019 No-Limit Hold&#8217;em contest sets the stage for two other WSOP online bracelet events in the summer.
