PokerStars attracted new players to take poker into the mainstream and as part of their marketing strategy, they signed soccer stars, such as Neymar Jr and Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reason to Play for Players<\/h3>\n

There is always a need for professional level players, although PokerStars’ strategy has certainly proved effective for the game in a wider sense. Because giving the players something to aspire to is such an effective way to keep players playing, it’s always important to bring fresh blood into the industry.<\/p>\n

Since the early poker boom this is the model online poker sites have been using. However, times are changing.<\/p>\n
