The list has no surprises, most players on the list are well-known in the industry and some have even made big contributions to the game.<\/p>\n<p>On October 26 at the Binion\u2019s Hoel and Casino in Las Vegas, it will become known which player made into the Hall of Fame. The most deserving candidates will be chosen by 45 people, being 25 current HOF members and 20 media member panel.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"the-criteria-are\">The criteria are&#8230;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>40-years of age or older<\/li>\n<li>have dominated high stakes poker games for a long period of time against top competitions\u00a0<strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>made a major impact on the growth of the industry as a non-player.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"the-finalists-are\">The Finalists are&#8230;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Chrs Bjorin<\/strong>: two-times bracelet winner; regular at the WSOP for many years.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Humberto Brenes:<\/strong>\u00a0over $6 million in lifetime tournament earnings; during the poker boom era Brenes was a fan favorite.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Todd Brunson:<\/strong> besides being Doyle\u2019s son, he is a regular in the biggest bankroller games in Vegas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eli Elezra:<\/strong> seen by some as the greatest player of all times; during the poker boom era Elezra was often on TV shows.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bruno Fitoussi:<\/strong> 8<sup>th<\/sup> on France\u2019s tournament wins list; he has indisputable talents.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chris Moneymaker<\/strong>: created a uniquely iconic brand for himself; motivated millions of amateur players to start playing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Carlos Mortensen<\/strong>: his nickname is \u201cEl Matador\u201d, Carlos won the WSOP Main Event in 2011.<\/li>\n<li>M<strong>ax Pescatori:<\/strong> won a WSOP bracelet five times; second all-time player of Italy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Matt Savage<\/strong>: founded Tournament Directors Association, director of the World Poker Tour.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>David \u201cDevilfish\u201d Ulliott:<\/em><\/strong> second-highest earning in England\u2019s history, he left a lasting impact on the industry. \u201cDevilfish\u201d passed away in 2015.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Every player in these list is more than deserving of being chosen to be part of Poker Hall of Fame.
