A companion ‘Mini-WCOOP’ edition will run alongside the main series for the first time ever in the history of the PokerStars WCOOP.

The buy-ins will sometimes be 1/1000th of its WCOOP counterpart but will mostly be 1/100th at the Mini-WCOOP.

From September 4-26, 2016, you’ll find both series tentatively running at the same time.

Feedback WCOOP Needed

The organizers are still looking for input from poker players to possibly make changes to the series, which means the main WCOOP schedule is not set in stone.

The vast majority of events (82) on the tentative schedule are Hold’em tournaments as you might expect. On the current schedule we find 50 individual Hold’em events.

The PLO events are the follower of the Hold’em tournaments, again followed by 8-game, HORSE, Seven-Card Stud and yes, Badugi.

The WCOOP tab of the PokerStars client won’t show the Mini-WCOOP as the event stands alone. The Mini-WCOOP events can be instead found by navigation through the main tournament lobby.

Most of the time you’ll be able to directly buy-in to the smaller tournaments as PokerStars will be running a very limited amount of satellites to the Mini-WCOOP.

Email wcoop@pokerstars.com to contribte to the schedule.

It’s only to get a little brother- we’re talking about the biggest online poker series.
