It all started when Nigel Farage, UK politician who advocates that the UK should leave the EU, placed a \u00a31,000 bet that the majority would vote for UK to leave the European Union.\u00a0 Tony G saw the opportunity to up the stakes and offered Farage to bet him \u00a31 million in case he\u2019s wrong.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"will-farage-accept-the-bet\">Will Farage Accept the Bet?<\/h2>\n<p>Naturally, the money would go to charity, given the spotlight on the two political figures. However Farage does not seem willing to accept the bet proposed by Tony G.<\/p>\n<p>Farage could obtain the money by gathering backers before June 23 and accept the bet, but with the referendum date approaching, this is probably not one of Farage\u2019s priorities.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"their-views-on-the-eu\">Their Views on the EU<\/h3>\n<p>Prop bet aside, Tony G and Farage actually have similar views on the EU.
