It has been the Europeans, Dominik Nitsche, Chris Moorman and Sofia Lövgren with the most cashes so far, despite the four Brazilian ambassadors, Denilson, Bruno Politano, Bruno Kawauti and Nicolau Villa- Lobos, on the 888poker team.

It were the couple of near misses for Lövgren and Moorman, both one, that had them talking at the team dinners with for the rest solid performances from all three the cashes.

There’s however plenty of opportunity to make a major splash with 20 events left to play inculding the signature Main Event.

Sofia had a Good Start

When Lövgren urged up the field in the 7,190- player $1,500 Millionaire Maker, the always charming Swede caught a lot of attention.

Lövgren couldn’t get a taste of the six-figures, despite the fact that two spots up top were paying out $1m.

Just shy of the final table, she finnally bowed out 12 after hovering near the top of the counts for much of the event.

Winning $75,109 is a nice way to get the series underway and of course outlasting 7,177 players is an outstanding accomplishment.

She began the WSOP 2-2 in cashes, as she beforehand also made money in the massive Colossus.

Today she is off to a good start in the $1,500 Bounty event and hopefully she’ll get a payout.

In Event #33, the $1,500 Summer Solstice the Chris Moorman had his own big-field near-miss to contemplate, as newly signed 888 poker pro.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t get further than 13th as online poker’s #1 all time tournament player.

So far, it has been a slow start financially for Moorman with a small-min in the Colossus, but with a $19,943 cash win.

Since Dominik Nitsche touched down in Las Vegas three weeks ago he already earned over half a million dollars.

A second-place for $630k out of two final tables in Aria High Roller events have put Nitsche in te GPI POY top three for 2016.

If we look at the results of the Brazilians, two of them made cashes under $10k once with Bruno Politano and Bruno Kawauti.

‘What might have been’, that’s the story so far for Team 888poker with 47 events underway or either done at the 2016 World Series of Poker.
