Today\u00a0Ferguson returned to play in the $1,000 Top-Up Turbo Event after he got busted in the $10k Seven-Card Stud event last night.<\/p>\n
Luckily for the California-native, no hostility from the other players at his table was received after declining an interview.<\/p>\n
It has been since late June of 2010 that Ferguson made his last cash at the WSOP, when winning $4,573 after finishing 48th in the $2,500 World Championship Mixed Event.<\/p>\n
After top sites as Full Tilt Poker, Absolute Poker\/ UB and PokerStars got indicted by the Department of Justice on online poker’s Black Friday, there has been no sign of Ferguson at the World Series of Poker or in the general poker world since April, 2011.<\/p>\n
After defrauding their players of more than $300, Full Tilt had to leave the US market.<\/p>\n
All allegations were denied by Ferguson’s lawyer.<\/p>\n
It was only because of the deal between PokerStars and the DOJ that players were paid back after PokerStars purchased Full Tilt. Otherwise Full Tilt Poker and its players would have to wait until 2014 to get their frozen accounts back.<\/p>\n
In subsequent years many poker pros that were involved in the allegations against Full Tilt Poker were absent at the stage of poker, as well as in the WSOP.<\/p>\n
Although Lederer recently came out with apologies for his actions, he hasn’t played any event in the 2016 WSOP yet. Let’s wait and see if he shows up in any of the following 60 WSOP events.<\/p>\n
Ferguson, however, was back in the $1,100 Top-Up Turbo event.<\/p>\n
